Transcription Wiki

This is something that would have been better to start 11 episodes ago, but better late then never.

I finally have a Wiki setup. There have been a number of people who have requested one, mainly for the purposes of creating a transcription. A transcription is a great way to provide the podcast content for people who cannot listen to the podcast for whatever reason. It also allows for easy reference to past episodes, and makes the posibilties of translation into other langauges easier.

I actually looked at voice recognition software and translation services. The former didn’t work effectively for this, and the later was much more expensive then I wanted to spend. Finally I decided to transcribe them myself, but I am afraid that would eat into my time for creating new episodes!

I added a link to the episode specific page in the wiki on each episode. Feel free to start translating where ever you like. I am sure the new episodes will be translated quickly, so the backlog will be a great place to start. Episode 1 was especially short. If everyone transcribes a little, then no one needs to transcribe a lot.

I do ask that you do not transcribe the discount codes. I don’t want them indexed by search engines. They are only for our listeners. They are a great benefit from some great vendors in the Delphi space and I don’t want to damage that.
